Nature, Number, and Election of Executive

The Committee of the Whole made a report on the status of Mr. Randolph’s propositions as in their current form. Items 9 and 10 related to the National Executive containing the following details:
 >  A single Executive
 >  Chosen by National Legislature
 >  Term of seven years
 >  Ineligible for re-appointment
 >  Removable on impeachment and conviction
 >  Paid out of national treasury
 >  Power to execute national laws
 >  Power to appoint offices not otherwise provided for
 >  Veto power (could be overridden by 2/3 of each branch of Congress)
